Associate Artist/Facilitator

Brigid Tierney, M.A.,  has been playing with theatre since she was a kid.  She fell back in love with it through Theatre of the Oppressed working with YouthCo Aids Society in Vancouver to engage a diversity of communities in conversation and body work around sexual health and wellness.  In this work, she became strongly committed to using theatre and play to work towards spaces of healing, growth and justice.  She has a Masters in Culture and Communication, is trained in Theatre of the Oppressed and its evolving adaptations from Vancouver, Toronto and New York, and works in a variety of community arts and community engagement initiatives around Toronto. She works as a facilitator in a variety of capacities, using theatre in addition to a other art practices to share stories, embrace difference and fight the good fight.
